United Risk Acquires Verita CSG from WTW, Ensuring Continuity for All Clients, Agents and Brokers Under New Verist Brand

Full leadership and staff remain in place across offices in the US, Mexico, Mumbai and Manila, as pace of placements and renewals is expected to accelerate

NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Rick Christofer, Chief Commercial Officer for United Risk, today announced that United Risk has acquired a portfolio of risks along with the Verita CSG, Inc. legal entity from WTW and branded the new venture as Verist LLC ("Verist") keeping former Verita leadership, staff and operations associated with the portfolio fully intact and seamlessly functional as renewals and new placements are processed in their US, Mexico, Mumbai and Manila offices. Top industry veteran Mr. Michael Chang joins to lead as CEO of Verist, now based at 50 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. The transaction closed on Friday, August 1, 2025.
