UNITED STATES AND AZERBAIJAN TO CELEBRATE THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THEIR DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS
WASHINGTON, April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- This year marks the 20th anniversary of the U.S-Azerbaijan diplomatic relations, 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's re-establishment of independence, the renewed spotlight on energy security in the world, and thus attention on the oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan.

The conference is being co-organized by the Turquoise Council of Americans and Eurasians with U.S. Azeris Network, and Johns Hopkins University's Central Asia Caucasus Institute at SAIS in Washington, D.C. and Caspian Strategy Institute. The conference will be attended by community, business and political leaders from both Azerbaijan and U.S., from local, state and federal levels.
