United Way of Greater Los Angeles And Los Angeles Rams Announce Team Captains And Open Registration For 12th Annual HomeWalk 5K To Be Held May 18

LOS ANGELES, April 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- United Way of Greater Los Angeles announces open registration for its annual HomeWalk 5K and names three Los Angeles Rams players as HomeWalk team captains:

• Aaron Donald (#99), Defensive Tackle, 2017 and 2018 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and five-time Pro-Bowler
• Andrew Whitworth (#77), Offensive Tackle, four-time Pro-Bowler and 2018 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award nominee
• Johnny Hekker (#6), Punter, four-time Pro-Bowler

The 12th annual HomeWalk 5K Family Run/Walk to Bring EVERYONE IN will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles and has become the largest public event to end homelessness in the nation.

During its 11-year history, HomeWalk has successfully mobilized more than 100,000 people and raised $8.6 million in funding, which directly funded permanent supportive housing for L.A. County's most vulnerable neighbors.
