Universal Pasteurization Announces Acquisition Of Assets Of HPP Services Provider, Global Leading Foods

LINCOLN, Neb., Feb. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Pasteurization Company, the industry leader in outsourced High Pressure Processing (HPP) services, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, UPC Texas, LLC, has acquired the assets of Global Leading Foods (GL Foods), a Coppell, Texas-based premier supplier of High Pressure Processing (HPP) services. The facility will provide additional HPP capacity for both current and prospective customers, and its location is strategic to Universal's geographic expansion plans to better serve the growing market for HPP outsourcing. The new location will join Universal's other HPP outsourcing facilities in Lincoln, NE and Villa Rica, GA.
