WASHINGTON, Feb. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Universities Space Research Association (USRA) invites members of the media to attend its annual symposium, "Artificial Intelligence for Space and Aeronautics," at the Holiday Inn, Washington DC, National Mall at 1:00 PM Eastern. The Symposium is being held in partnership with the Space Policy Institute of The George Washington University.

THE SYMPOSIUM: The half-day symposium, scheduled from 1:00 PM - 5:00 pm EDT on March 27, 2025, will provide a forum for thought leaders to discuss emerging challenges, global trends and the next steps in AI-driven research and development. For more than 50 years, USRA has led groundbreaking scientific and technical advancements in space exploration, including early research on AI applications for space and aeronautics dating back to the 1980s. This symposium continues that tradition, convening experts to examine how AI can shape the future of mission success, scientific discovery, and global competitiveness in space research.
