University of the Rockies Announces New Public Sociology Degree Program

DENVER, June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- University of the Rockies, a leading graduate school focused on the social and behavioral sciences, has announced the addition of a Master of Arts in Public Sociology degree program. The degree program features specializations in medical sociology and applied sociology. Graduates will be prepared to conduct social science research and apply sociological knowledge with a goal of making a difference in the world in which we live.

"The MA in Public Sociology is a cutting edge program designed to meet the needs of 21st century professionals who want to deepen their understanding of public issues in a social context," said Dr. Robert Edelbrock, interim dean of the School of Social, Human, and Educational Development at University of the Rockies.
