UNX Partners With International Class Actions Management to Offer Unique Data Services to UNX Catalyst® EMS Users

NEW YORK, Jan. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UNX LLC (www.unx.com), a leading provider of innovative trading technology solutions, is partnering with International Class Actions Management (ICAM) to integrate ICAM's securities data and research services into the UNX Catalyst Execution Management System (EMS).

ICAM provides data, support and outsourcing services to leading financial institutions to help them effectively and efficiently manage the impact of securities class action claims and other adverse events. Their proprietary global data collection includes up-to-the-minute coverage of securities class actions, bankruptcies and government disgorgements.

The two firms are developing a plug-in that will feed ICAM services directly into the Catalyst EMS, providing additional risk management capabilities to the trader. This will allow traders to query ICAM's database for past and pending events that could affect any security they intend to trade or hold.

By introducing this added level of transparency at the point of trade, UNX aims to help its clients make more informed trading decisions and mitigate risk.
