Upgraded Lumber Liquidators Floor Finder App Blends Function With Fun

TOANO, Va., Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lumber Liquidators (NYSE: LL), the largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring in North America, announced that its updated Floor Finder app is now available on smart phones and tablets.

The app empowers consumers to easily browse through more than 400 flooring varieties, as well as current deals, to find their perfect floor. It includes three primary features – Color Match, Room Designer and The Visualizer.

The Color Match tool, previously only available on the mobile website, allows users to upload a photo of any item such as a cabinet or a friend's floor and then see Lumber Liquidators products with a similar range of colors. A new split screen "mood board" feature also makes it easy to compare flooring style options to the colors found in other home decor design elements such as paint colors, countertops, furniture and more. For those that simply don't know where to begin, the new Explore feature allows shoppers to visually browse through photos and room scenes for colors and styles that catch their eye.

Room Designer allows users to instantly view room settings such as kitchens, dining rooms and bedrooms then swap in various flooring choices and wall colors to inspire creative ideas. The Visualizer tool can be used to upload a real room photo and swap in different flooring choices to see what pops. Additionally, photos can be modified in The Visualizer by removing or cropping around furniture to get the right look. 

Crossing The Finish Line
After browsing through a stunning variety of flooring, consumers can make a purchase or order samples directly through the app. It also features an enhanced deals section where consumers can find the latest flooring deals, a store locator for consumers who prefer to directly consult with a Lumber Liquidators flooring expert in person and a QR code reader so shoppers can learn more about all of the floors found in the store showrooms.

The app even has a feature where delighted customers can showcase their new flooring and upload photos to a before-and-after gallery that will inspire other homeowners in their own projects.
