To use the tool, consumers simply type in their number of points and select the correct type (Amex, Chase, Citi or SPG) from the drop-down menu. Based on the user's inputs, the tool generates a table showing all the pertinent information on one page in an easily comprehensible format. Each column can even be sorted alphabetically or numerically to help consumers understand the range of what's available.

Rewards points can be transferred to multiple airline and hotel partners around the world, and UP's tool displays them all. It also calculates the number of points you'll receive once transferred. Typically, the ratio is 1:1, but not always - and sometimes partners run special offers where points become more valuable. For instance, an airline might offer a 30% bonus on transferred points, and offers like this are included in the tool so you don't miss out on any bonus opportunities.

Next to the transfer ratio is an estimate of the transfer time; for most partners, points transfers are almost instant.
