Urban Catalyst taps Joshua Burroughs

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Urban Catalyst, a multi-asset Opportunity Fund, announced that Joshua Burroughs has assumed the position of COO/SVP of Development. Burroughs is a real estate professional with experience supervising and directing all aspects of land acquisition, entitlements, forward planning, and land development including project underwriting, design, construction, relationship management, partnership/joint venture formations, debt and equity placement, management of consultants, and project/asset disposition. He has acquired and entitled over 5M square feet of product in Northern California, including over 1,500 residential units in Opportunity Zones.

In his new role, Burroughs will be managing Urban Catalyst's acquisitions, forward planning & development teams, lead equity & debt placement, partnership/joint venture formations, and project/asset dispositions. He will also oversee company operations by managing third-party consultants and investor relations/communications teams. Working alongside Erik Hayden, president of Urban Catalyst, Burroughs will help facilitate investment prospects in real estate infrastructure that affect the community in a positive way.
