U.S. Army Awards Digital Training Management System Contract to nFocus Software

AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 13, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States Army recently awarded the Digital Training Management System (DTMS) Enhancement contract to the General Dynamics Information Technology and nFocus Software team. The award was made under the ITES-2S, within which nFocus Software is a sub-contractor to General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT).

DTMS is a customized version of nFocus Software's Student Management Server and provides the Army with the ability to plan, resource, and manage unit and individual training at all levels. Presently, it tracks the training for over 2 million Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilian stationed all over the world. Due to this program's overwhelming success, and to meet the Army's growing needs, the GDIT and nFocus Software team was awarded the current contract to enhance the existing capabilities of DTMS.
