U.S. Capital Advisors Launches Institutional Trading Group

HOUSTON, Feb. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Capital Advisors LLC ("USCA") announced that Bradley Stammen has joined the firm as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Trading.  Clint Turner has also joined USCA as Director, Institutional Trading. Mr. Stammen has more than 12 years of experience trading a wide range of equity products, futures, options and total return swaps for companies including Goldman Sachs, Alerian Capital Management, Societe General Cowen and Salomon Smith Barney.  

Most recently, Mr. Stammen was Head Trader and COO of Business Development for SteelPath Capital Management.  Mr. Turner has been an equity sales trader for more than 15 years, working for Banc of America, Southwest Securities and Pulse Trading.

Last month USCA launched its institutional client business, which is initially focused on energy infrastructure, by hiring Becca Followill, as Head of Equity Research, and a five-person energy specialist sales team, consisting of David King, Barry Guinn, Rae Lees, Leslie Rich and Rachel Zick.  USCA's Institutional Client Group (ICG) covers the majority of large institutional investors focused on investing in midstream-related equities, including master limited partnerships (MLPs).  

The firm plans to continue to expand its institutional franchise with additional near-term hires in energy research and sales.
