US demand to rise 3.8%annually through 2018

Demand for coated fabrics in the US isprojected to advance 3.8 percent per yearto 725 million square yards in 2018, anacceleration from sluggish gains postedduring the 2008 to 2013 period. Key motor vehicle marketto see accelerating growth

The largest market for coated fabrics in2013 was motor vehicles, with 30 percentof the total, benefiting from the largenumber of light vehicles that are producedin the US each year. Polymer-coated fabrics toremain dominant products
