US Entrepreneurs Lead Hurricane Odile Relief Effort in Los Cabos
Clothing, medical supplies, and MilkMan Instant Low Fat Dry Milk airlifted to help victims of Category 4 Hurricane
HARRISON, N.Y., Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A chartered Airbus 319 was the first relief aircraft to land in San Jose Del Cabo on September 25, 2014, just after the devastation of Odile, a Category 4 Hurricane. Dan Green and Claudia Difalco, Elyse and David Walker of Los Angeles, Lynn and Larry Feder of Westchester, NY and Matthew Pearson of Marron Foods, Harrison, NY loaded the aircraft with donated medical supplies, clothing, food and 6,336 quart pouches of Milkman Instant Low Fat Dry Milk for victims of the hurricane's destruction. Over 18,000 pounds of relief aid filled the cargo bays and passenger overhead luggage compartments. Dan Green and David Walker accompanied the shipment to insure clearance through Mexican Customs and distribution to Odile victims at pre-arranged staging areas coordinated by the Sanchez Navarro family/Corona Beer.
