"We are honored to have worked with The Perth Mint to design and produce these beautiful gold and silver coins to memorialize such an historic event in the world's history. The 75th Anniversary Pearl Harbor Gold Coin beautifully and respectfully honors the events of December 7, 1941," said Philip N. Diehl, President U.S. Money Reserve.

U.S. Money Reserve is the exclusive distributor for this limited release of the 75th Anniversary Pearl Harbor gold and silver coins.  U.S. Money Reserve engaged The Perth Mint to mint these world-class gold and silver coins memorializing those that served during the attack on Pearl Harbor of which Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed, "A date which will live in infamy."

"This beautiful coin represents not only an important inflection point in our nation's history, but it is a remembrance of the greatest generation who went on to win this war." John Totushek, VADM USN (Ret) President and CEO, US Navy Memorial Foundation a 501 (c) (3) corporation.

"Australia and the United States have been strong allies since World War II and our friendship remains to this day, so it is with pride that we contribute to this significant anniversary," said Neil Vance, Perth Mint Group Manager Minted Products.

The intricate detail of these unique and magnificent coins captures the moment of attack beginning at 7:48 a.m. Hawaiian Time. The coin's reverse shows Japanese fighter and torpedo planes, as the first of two waves attack three of the eight U.S. Navy battleships. In all, more than 15 U.S. naval ships and 188 U.S. aircraft were destroyed and 2,403 American military and civilians were killed, while 1,178 others were wounded.

The obverse brings together our allies the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of Australia with the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
