WASHINGTON, Dec. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Asian American Inaugural Gala Committee (AAIGC), with support from the National Republican Asian Assembly (NRAA), and other Asian and American business and community leaders announce hosting a special inaugural gala celebration to commemorate the election of President-Elect Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America.
The inaugural "Asian American Gala" will be held on Saturday evening, January 21, 2016, from 5 pm to 10 pm at the prestigious Park Hyatt Hotel located at 1201 24th Street N.W. Washington DC, 20037.The program will include a cocktail hour, a VIP reception, and an inaugural dinner, attended by many Asian, American and international dignitaries, keynote speakers and an awards presentation. The Gala's festivities will also include a special performance by the internationally-acclaimed Korean-American soprano, Ms. Rose Jang, in addition to featuring an array of cultural, artistic performances that also commemorate the Asian New Year.
"Our mission is to educate Asian Americans, not just Republican Asian Americans, and the community at large, that we share the same core values with the Republican party," says Mr. Alfred H. Liu, A.I.A., the NRAA's National Chairman, and a global businessman, statesman and architect. "Those values include self-reliance, self-determination, academic achievement, respect for parents and authority, strong families, and respect for tradition and heritage —all values which have historically made America great," he said.
