US RADIOLOGY SPECIALISTS OPENS EIGHTH NEW IMAGING CENTER IN PAST SEVEN MONTHS

De novo centers expand patient access to high-quality, affordable, convenient outpatient imaging care.

RALEIGH, N.C., May 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- US Radiology Specialists, Inc., one of the nation's largest providers of outpatient medical imaging, recently opened a new imaging center in Waco, TX, marking the company's eighth "de novo" center opening since October 2024 and its fourth new center in 2025. In total, US Radiology expects to open 12 new centers in 2025, including five in joint venture partnerships with leading health systems, to add to the company's total of 183 imaging centers across 13 states.

Freestanding outpatient imaging centers like those operated by US Radiology play a critical role in expanding access to high-quality care by offering patients convenient, and typically lower-cost alternatives to hospital-based medical imaging. With extended hours and easily accessible retail locations, US Radiology's centers make it easy for patients to complete imaging exams, including MRIs, CTs, and mammograms, that help diagnose disease and guide appropriate treatment.
