
Utah Company Offers $400,000 Worth of Tickets to U of U Students Affected by Shooting
How to Overcome Trauma Session Added to Event with World Renowned Teachers
CENTERVILLE, Utah, Oct. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Recent tragic events at the University of Utah prompts local event company Powerful U, to offer $400,000 worth of tickets to student and faculty at the U of U to help them cope and heal from the recent tragedy. Powerful U is making 1000 free tickets available to student and faculty member for their upcoming event, The Powerful U Experience. The local event will bring international presence hosting some of the world's top speakers and teachers in the fields of Psychology, Neuroscience, Self-help and Motivation. The event's organizers are expanding their capacity and schedule with a large breakout session on How to Overcome Trauma, Friday evening, which they have created specifically for students and local residents struggling to deal with these types of events. This breakout will be led by one of the local speakers, Coach Kim Giles, and other mental health professionals, and will give best practices for dealing with tragedy.
The event is taking place this weekend November 2nd & 3rd at the Salt Palace Convention Center. The speakers include Utah's own Elizabeth Smart, Coach Kimberly Giles and Dr. Klayne Rasmussen. The national speakers include Mel Robbins, Brendon Burchard, Jay Shetty, Lewis Howes, Tom Bilyeu and top International Neuroscientist Beau Lotto.
