UTC Fire & Security Technology to Support World-Class Fire Training Center in Chongqing

CHONGQING, China, May 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UTC Fire & Security has announced an agreement with Chongqing Fire Department to provide industry-leading Kidde Live Fire Trainer® technology to help build a world-class fire training center in Chongqing. According to the agreement, Chongqing Fire Department will deploy Kidde Live Fire Trainer® technology to equip the Chongqing Fire Training Center located at the Fusheng area, Chongqing.  Chongqing Yujie Fire Protection Equipment Co., Ltd, under the management of UTC Fire & Security Asia, will supply Kidde Live Fire Trainer® systems and provide installation and training services. The Chongqing Fire Training Center is currently under construction, and has a total area of more than 168,000 square meters, including training area, teaching buildings and a dormitory for trainees.
