Utility Industry Analyst Warren B. Causey to Join Five Point Partners

ATLANTA, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Five Point Partners, LLC, a utility consulting and advisory firm announced today that well-known industry analyst Warren B. Causey will join the firm as Vice President of Strategy, Research and Analysis, effective March 17.  In his new position, Causey will continue to serve utilities and other industry players with research-based analysis and strategic advisement.

For the past five years, Causey has been Vice President of Sierra Energy Group, the research and analysis division of Energy Central, Aurora, CO.  Prior to Sierra Energy Group, Causey founded Warren B. Causey, Ltd., which became one of the most respected research, analysis and publishing firms in the utility industry.  Warren B. Causey, Ltd. was merged with Energy Central in 2005.

Causey, a technology and innovation thought leader for more than 30 years, is a renowned and prolific speaker and writer on utility business and IT topics.  While at Sierra Energy Group, Causey was principal-in-charge of all proprietary consulting engagements.  He also served as editor, lead writer and analyst on numerous Sierra Energy and Energy Central publications and research initiatives.  Causey is the author of more than 30 books, dozens of reports and hundreds of utility industry magazine articles.  He is a regular keynote speaker at industry conferences and is frequently contracted by utilities, regulatory agencies and other industry participants to provide targeted strategic advice.
