UV Vodka Celebrates Returning Veterans With "Salute to The New Heroes" Program

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Phillips Distilling Company today announced the launch of the "Salute to The New Heroes" campaign, which is designed to support veterans across the U.S. to find employment once they return home from service. As a company-wide initiative, the program will drive awareness until Veteran's Day and will resume again in 2016 in advance of key periods such as Memorial Day and Fourth of July.

Through the Salute to the New Heroes program, donations will be secured though in-store purchases of UV Vodka and via the sharing of the #SalutetoHeroes hashtag on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with a portion of proceeds donated to Hiring Our Heroes, a nationwide program from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which helps U.S. veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment.

At the retail level, Salute to Heroes will be showcased through specially designed bottle neck hangers, case wraps and case headers. At key accounts, in-store demo events will drive engagement and awareness among consumers. Participating bars and restaurants will show their support with dedicated signage and promotional materials encouraging consumers to share their salute online and donate.
