Vacation Ownership Group Opens Cape Cod Office

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J., Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Vacation Ownership Group,  a New Jersey based timeshare consulting firm with offices in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., and Nashville, Tenn., opened their third office in Dennis, Mass., on Jan. 2. The Vacation Ownership Group™ specializes in helping victims of timeshare fraud and timeshare consumers seeking resolution to their unresolved complaints. The Massachusetts office opened with 30 employees and plans to add 50 additional positions this year.

The Vacation Ownership Group currently employs 100 people in New Jersey and Tennessee combined and will double that number when the Cape Cod office is fully staffed later this year.

Adam Lacerda, President and CEO of the Vacation Ownership Group, says opening the Cape Cod office was an important milestone for the company he and his wife founded.  

"I grew up on Cape Cod and my family lives there today. It was important to me to expand into Cape Cod for many reasons. One important reason is the fact unemployment is high in the area and few jobs are available, especially professional jobs with benefits. I knew we could find the quality, professional staff we needed to open an office, and give the local economy a boost which it needs. Also, since I have family and friends in the area I was able to use their expertise and knowledge to get the office opened in record time. Alan Lacerda, who lives in Dennis, Mass., has joined the company as Vice President of Operations and Compliance.

Philip Sheinis, a resident of Carver, Mass., was named Vice President of Sales.

The Vacation Ownership Group was founded to help timeshare and vacation ownership consumers who are victims of fraud and/or misrepresentation during a timeshare presentation where they purchased ownership. The company reviews the owner's complaint and works to find a resolution to their problem.

As well, he says the new office will provide much needed jobs, which include benefits and above-average salaries, to the Cape Cod area.
