Vaco Los Angeles Expands with New Positions for Consultant Placement and Executive Recruiting for Finance, Accounting and Technology

Vaco has added Andrea Light and Alisha Garner as associate directors, Alex Kernus in client services, James Nguyen, Harry Singh, and Angel Figueroa as recruiters, and Candice Alvarado in administration.

Light, a CPA, is associate director for accounting and finance consultant placement, with more than 10 years of industry experience, including serving as vice president of finance for Calpine Power Company, as well as nearly five years of experience in consultant and executive recruiting. She has experience in the areas of financial analysis and valuation, mergers and acquisitions, forecasting, debt financing, SEC reporting, audit and tax. With extensive experience in IT consulting and direct-hire placements, Garner has been named associate director specializing in areas such as applications development, project management, data analytics, cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.

Kernus, a CPA with five years of experience who previously held positions at EY and PwC, is in client services for finance and accounting consultant placements. Previously an audit associate, Nguyen is supporting direct hire accounting and finance placements. Singh, who has more than 10 years of IT systems engineering experience, and Figueroa with specialization in technical recruiting, both join Vaco as technical recruiters placing IT professionals in consultant and direct hire positions. Alvarado serves as assistant office manager and executive assistant, supporting Vaco executives.
