ValueHealth Announces Whitney Courser as President of Marketing and Sales Operations

LEAWOOD, Kan., April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective April 1, NueHealth Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales Operations Whitney Courser has been promoted to President of Marketing and Sales Operations for ValueHealth, a privately held, nationally trusted surgical healthcare partner and parent company of NueHealth, the leading value-based ambulatory surgical platform company. In her new role, Ms. Courser will oversee all marketing for ValueHealth, NueHealth, and Muve Health, the nation's premier value-based outpatient total joint replacement provider. She will also be responsible for sales operations across the entire ValueHealth family of companies and is leading the company's consolidation of orthopedic business strategies. Ms. Courser will continue her key role in the partnership between NueHealth, MuveHealth, and Rothman Orthopaedics, one of the country's leading orthopaedic group practices with over 200 physicians in 40 locations and 45 surgical sites, to replicate and scale the highly successful musculoskeletal surgical network the joint venture has already developed in the Greater Philadelphia market. Ms. Courser's work with the partnership will focus on developing facilities in adjacent markets in the northeast corridor.

Over the past 16 years, Ms. Courser has developed market focused ambulatory surgical networks which have created more than a billion dollars of enterprise value for our partners. From 2016 to 2018, Ms. Courser also led Rothman facilities operations for NueHealth, during which time she built out a regional operations team in Philadelphia to bring structure and support locally to NueHealth-Rothman partnered facilities.

Originally from Wichita, KS, Ms. Courser relocated to the Kansas City area in 2002 and joined NueHealth in 2003. Prior to that, she had a successful career in national restaurant franchising, working up the ranks from one of the youngest restaurant managers in the restaurant's history to overseeing financial operations for over 60 franchises.
