ValueHealth Hires Industry Veteran Jennifer Duke as President, Market Development

ValueHealth's technology-enabled platform assists payors and providers in delivering appropriate alternatives to high-cost, fee-for-service surgical care. In her role as President, Market Development, Ms. Duke is responsible for introducing ValueHealth's proprietary technology to providers and payors, as well as expanding the integrated orthopaedic practice model and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) platform for NueHealth, a ValueHealth company. She will assist orthopaedic groups in navigating the transition from the fee-for-service model to value-based care with commercial payors, self-funded employers, and Medicare. Ms. Duke will also work to expand the total joint replacement hyperspecialty platform of ValueHealth company Muve Health from the Greater Philadelphia market into Texas, Illinois, Florida, and the Midwest.

Ms. Duke was previously the owner of Urban MD, a healthcare consultancy providing business development and marketing strategies for emerging healthcare companies in Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Texas, and California. Under her leadership, Urban MD helped create performance improvement and enterprise value in the orthopaedic space.

Prior to founding Urban MD, Ms. Duke served as the Chief Development Officer of Foundation HealthCare, a $150 million company focused on the development and management of ASCs and surgical hospitals. In that role, she led business development and physician recruitment, forming partnerships with health systems, medical groups, employers, and ACO/IPAs to create same store growth and capture new market share. She successfully recruited qualified physicians and healthcare investors to syndicate physician-owned investment offerings of de novo projects and multiple ancillary expansion projects and joint ventures.
