Valvoline Returns to the DAKAR Rally as Exclusive Lubricant Partner of GINAF RALLY Power Team

Valvoline™, a brand of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), announces its exclusive lubricants partnership with the GINAF Rally Power Team at the 2015 Dakar Rally.

The 2015 edition of the Dakar Rally will take participants across Argentina, Chile and Bolivia in what's considered by many to be the toughest land race in the world. Over 70 trucks will leave the starting line, but it's an open question how many will be able to endure the punishment and reach the finish line. The GINAF RALLY Power Team has partnered with Valvoline to give its three GINAF RALLY Power trucks the best chance to compete in this grueling competition.

The GINAF RALLY Power team is powered by Cummins ISZ13 diesel engines. Cummins and Valvoline have a close partnership, and Valvoline  Premium Blue™ motor oils have been designed specifically for Cummins engines. This will be an advantage for the GINAF Rally Power Team, and teams can use every advantage in the ultimate test that is the Dakar Rally.
