Varentec Expands Global Commercialization of Grid Edge Solutions with Addition of Energy Veteran CCO Mehrdod Mohseni

(UISOL) where, as CEO and President, he had overall responsibility for the successful operations and continued growth of UISOL and oversaw the strategic direction, operational execution and business development of the firm. Mohseni brings extensive experience in P&L management, sales and marketing of operational technology systems in the energy and telecommunication industries.  Varentec's evolutionary grid edge technology provides an unprecedented level of improvement to today's grid efficiency while allowing for effective deployment and integration of renewable energy resources for Investor Owned Utilities and Public Power Companies alike.  Mohseni's unique and broad background in the electric utility industry leadership complements and expands Varentec's leadership in this field.

He has held leadership positions in companies including UISOL, Inc. (an Alstom Grid Co.), GE Digital Energy, Black & Veatch, KEMA (now DNV GL) and Southern Company.  His experience across the spectrum of the energy industry spans executive leadership, marketing and commercialization, strategic planning and vision, as well as global strategy execution. His technical expertise includes Distribution Management and Automation Systems, Smart Metering Infrastructure, Meter Data Management Systems, Mobile Workforce Management Systems, Outage Management Systems, SCADA and EMS control center systems, communications and information systems, and enterprise systems implementation for the electric, gas, and water utility industries.
