VelocityEHS to Showcase its Industry-Leading Humantech Ergonomics Technologies at Upcoming Conference

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- VelocityEHS, the global leader in cloud-based environment, health, safety (EHS) and sustainability solutions, will demonstrate—through its recently acquired Humantech brand—how to do ergonomics right using its software as a service platforms at the NAEM EHS & Sustainability Management Forum. The conference is located at the Louisville Marriott Downtown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky on October 23-26th.

Conference attendees are encouraged to visit the company's Humantech booth (#511) to learn a faster, easier, and more accurate way to complete a musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) risk assessment. Board-certified ergonomists will demonstrate a new, sensorless, motion-capture technology, available in The Humantech System^® software in the Spring of 2019.

Demos will be given during the following exposition hours:

• Wednesday, October 24: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Thursday, October 25: 7:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Through a partnership with Kinetica Labs, the video-based technology is part of an advanced module in The Humantech System that allows anyone with a mobile device to accurately capture the posture, frequencies, and durations of an operator performing a task. Once uploaded into The Humantech System, ergonomics team members can accurately and quickly complete an MSD risk assessment to prioritize jobs and tasks in industrial work environments.

Booth visitors may also receive live demonstrations of Ergopoint^®, a web-based solution for the office environment.
