Verizon Wireless Continues Commitment To West Virginia With Latest Introduction Of The Nation's Largest 4G LTE Network In Summersville Area

WHO: Verizon Wireless, operator of the nation's largest 4G LTE network and largest, most reliable 3G network.

WHAT:  Verizon Wireless has launched (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE) network coverage in Summersville, W. Va., and along portions of U.S. Route 19. 4G LTE empowers Verizon Wireless customers with compatible devices to surf the Web, post status updates and photos, and download files wirelessly at speeds up to 10 times faster than customers on 3G networks.

WHERE: Verizon Wireless debuted its 4G LTE network in West Virginia beginning with Charleston in December 2010. Today, customers in Summersville, Fayetteville, Oak Hill and Mount Hope may now experience the speed and capabilities offered through the innovative products and solutions available on Verizon's 4G LTE network. In addition, the company has expanded its 4G LTE footprint along U.S. Route 19 to include Nicholas and Fayette counties.
