VersaReports Announces New RDL Connector to Universal Report Server That Allows Report Hosting for Any Reporting Package

ATLANTA and SAN FRANCISCO, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- VersaReports, creator of reporting software products that help businesses achieve their reporting goals without breaking their budget, announces the availability of a new connector for rendering and distributing Report Definition Language (RDL) reporting files with Universal Report Server (URS), VersaReports' flagship solution for multi-server reporting functionality. RDL reporting files are used with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and define how all aspects of a report should behave, including report parameters, color schemes, and report layout. With this new connector, URS users will have similar capabilities as Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), plus the many features in URS that are unique to the reporting server market.
