BILLERICA, Mass., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertica Systems announced today that it has successfully resolved all disputes with Sybase related to United States Patent Nos. 5,794,228 and 5,794,229. The Court has dismissed Sybase's infringement claims, thus resolving all outstanding litigation between the parties.
With the dismissal of the lawsuits, Vertica's direct and indirect customers including its partners, OEMs, ISVs, end customers, and others may sell and use Vertica's database products without concern for the two Sybase patents.
