Herrenmode als neue Kategorie
Seit 2009 ist Vestiaire Collective Vorreiter im Luxus-Wiederverkauf. Mit dem neuen Angebot für Herrenmode stärkt die Plattform ihre Position als globale Anlaufstelle für gebrauchte Luxusartikel aller Kategorien – von Damenmode bis Schmuck und jetzt auch mit erweitertem Herrensortiment.

Herrenmode erschließt eine neue Zielgruppe: 59 % der männlichen Kunden sind Millennials oder Gen Z, gegenüber 50 % der weiblichen Kunden. Dieser demografische Wandel bestätigt Männer als wichtige Treiber der nächsten Modewelle.

Wichtigste Gründe für Wiederverkauf laut Bericht „The Future of Resale: Menswear Edition":

  • Wert: 74 % nennen günstige Preise und Erschwinglichkeit.
  • Exklusivität: Seltene und limitierte Stücke wie Balenciagas „Armor"-Handschuhe und Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in Gelbgold.
  • Nachhaltigkeit: 39 % schätzen Umweltvorteile; 70 % pflegen ihre Kleidung, weil sie sie wiederverkaufen können.
