HOUSTON, July 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Noted trial lawyer Paul L. Mitchell has joined Houston-based litigation boutique Hicks Thomas LLP where he will boost the firm's already impressive courtroom heft with his strong record of representing clients in the oil and gas sector.
Mr. Mitchell, who joined the firm July 1 as a partner, has a wealth of experience with energy clients from the super-majors to smaller independents. He also brings considerable experience advising companies involved in government investigations and in navigating issues raised by the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
His move reunites him with longtime friend, Hicks Thomas co-founder John B. Thomas. The two clerked together at the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 1986-87.
