Veterinary Pet Insurance Announces New Leader

BREA, Calif., June 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI), the nation's oldest and largest provider of pet health insurance, has named Scott Liles its new executive leader.  He replaces Dennis Drent, who announced his departure from the company earlier this month.

Prior to joining VPI, Liles held strategy roles at both Nationwide corporate and most recently for the Nationwide Growth Solutions portfolio of companies, which includes VPI.  During the course of his career Liles has served in a number of senior strategic positions for companies such as McKinsey & Company, Accenture Strategic Services and The British Broadcasting Corporation.  One of his first positions was working with the United Nations development program in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Liles has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Texas A&M, a Master of Arts in economics from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School in the United Kingdom.
