Vigilan and Curotek Marry Comprehensive Care Plan with Mobile Task System

Curotek, the leader in Elder location, nurse call integration to care management kiosks, sensor systems for preventing falls and elopement and document management, will join Vigilan at ALFA to demonstrate their combined applications on the Apple iPad.  Curotek has created a multi-function mobile application. The task application pulls information from the Vigilan service plan and creates a task list for care providers.  Using the iPad, this combined solution closes the loop on the service plan, eliminates additional data entry and provides an accurate, up-to-date record of services provided to residents for nursing staff, administrators and families.

Additionally, the Curotek application for iPad delivers alerts from Curotek's sensor systems directly through the iPad.  Caregivers using the application can check the location of residents, receive alerts when residents move toward exit doors and get out of bed.  Caregivers can also create progress notes and review details of care plans from the iPad, all without leaving the resident.

Vigilan Care Suite for iPad is available now at no additional charge for Vigilan customers.  Vigilan will provide initial start-up assistance as well as ongoing service and support. Vigilan Care Suite for iPad is only available for customers who have a license for the Vigilan Care Suite application.
