Vigilant, Inc. Unveils Application Security Monitoring Services

NEW YORK, Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Vigilant, a provider of managed security monitoring and threat intelligent services, today announced the availability of its Application Risk Management and Monitoring (ARMM) suite of services. Developed in response to requests by large enterprise clients, Vigilant's solution enables clients to centrally monitor the security state of critical applications and more rapidly detect cyber threats and fraud.

Vigilant ARMM services have been developed through practical experience working with several financial services organizations. They include a risk-focused review of the application, an initial planning phase that engages stakeholders in prioritizing the applications and their components. In a second phase, Vigilant analyzes the way people and business processes interact with each application to determine how to detect abnormal or abusive activity. In the deployment stages, application parsers are built to enable application logs to be collected by the SIEM (security information and event management) platform, or other monitoring technologies, and monitoring rules, alerts and reports are configured.
