Vigilant Video Names Pierre E. Leroy Executive Chairman of the Board

LIVERMORE, Calif., March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Vigilant Video today announced it has appointed Pierre E. Leroy as Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors. The selection committee called Leroy, "A strategic visionary with a proven track record of execution and more than three decades of experience."

Leroy holds a MBA in finance from the University of Chicago and a BA from the University of Michigan. He held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Deere & Co., prior to being promoted into the operational side of the company. He retired from Deere as President, Worldwide Construction and Forestry Division as well as President, Global Parts Division. He was named by Black Enterprise as one of the 75 most powerful African-Americans in business. Currently he serves on the Boards of Directors of Capital One Financial and Rental Service Corporation; he has previously served on the boards of Fortune Brands and Acco Brands.
