CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Local dry utility underground contracting firm, Major Contractors, has officially been sold to a new owner through Viking Mergers & Acquisitions, a middle market M&A firm based out of Charlotte, NC. Major Contractors specializes in duct banks, conduit construction and site lighting installation. Founded in 2001, Major Contractors has grown into one of the most respected and well-known electrical contractors in Charlotte due to former owners, Lisa and David Jackson.
After owning Major Contractors for 7 years, Lisa and David Jackson made the decision to pursue new endeavors and sell their business. Lisa and David knew they didn't want to try and sell the business on their own so they enlisted the help of Peter T. Keretsis, a partner at Viking Mergers & Acquisitions.
