Dr. Lala completed his Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of California and Residency in Anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Division of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. 

Board Certified in Anesthesiology and in subspecialty of Pain Medicine, Dr. Lala is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. To further advance his professional development Dr. Lala is distinguished fellow of several elite organizations including the American Medical Association and Young Presidents Organization. Dr. Lala is also an esteemed member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Lala is passionate and an avid supporter of many charities through the organization.

In recognition of his professional accolades, Dr. Lala was the recipient of an award from the Post-operative Anesthesia Care Unit nursing staff for providing his patients with "world class" service as Chief Resident at the Cleveland Clinic. He has also been featured on Larry King live.
