Vincent M. Oddo Named President and CEO of Birch Equity Partners
Company expands merger and acquisition focus by assigning full-time President and CEO.
ATLANTA, May 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Birch Equity Partners announced today that Vincent M. Oddo will assume the position of President and CEO of Birch Equity Partners and in this new role will report to the Board of Directors of Birch Holdings, Inc. Oddo most recently held the positions of President and CEO of Birch Communications, Inc. and Managing Director of Birch Equity Partners.
Oddo is a 30-year-plus veteran of the communications industry and has specialized in growing, restructuring and managing wireline, wireless and broadband telecommunications businesses. Oddo has led over 200 M&A projects valued at over $1B. He began his career at Graphic Scanning Corp., a BellSouth predecessor, and served as SVP and COO of Network Telephone, SVP and CIO of NuVox Communications, and SVP of BellSouth. Oddo holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Long Island University.
Oddo is a co-founder of Birch Equity Partners, which was created to be a flexible and entrepreneur-friendly private equity firm. In his new role, he will continue to lead investment activities and serve as a member of the company's Investment Committee where they are proactively seeking new investments in a variety of growth industries.
