Viral Launch Names Mitch Black President & COO as It Readies for Rapid Growth
INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Indianapolis-based Viral Launch, which helps clients across the country sell products on Amazon, has named Mitch Black its new President and Chief Operating Officer.
Black joins the SaaS-platform provider and will have responsibility for the company's go-to-market strategy and the successful execution of planning and scaling the company. The hire is part of Viral Launch's investment in key executive staffing as it prepares for an expected high-growth stage. The company is currently hiring for multiple roles.

In January, the company renovated and nearly tripled the size of its offices at 429 Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN. Despite the expansion from 3,500 square-feet to more than 11,000 square-feet, the company is nearly ready to grow its footprint again.
Viral Launch has more than doubled its staffing in the past year as it works toward a plan to grow by 250 workers by 2021.
Black has extensive experience in leading growth companies. Most recently he served as the CEO of Author Solutions, a global self-publishing company based in Bloomington, Ind. with more than 1,300 employees. Prior to that, he served for five years as president of MOBI, a cloud-based mobility software company in Indianapolis. Under his leadership, MOBI evolved from start-up to a globally recognized leader and was recognized in 2017 as Techpoint Indiana's Tech Company of the Year.
Black spent 25 years in other executive positions with BrightPoint (now Ingram Micro), PCS Wireless and Verizon Wireless.
