Viralheat Unveils New Features, Social Login and Explore, to Social Media Marketing Suite
Social media marketing suite provider enhances publishing tool with industry's first-ever Social Sign On Capability and real-time monitoring capabilities with Explore feature
SAN MATEO, Calif., April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Viralheat, the social media marketing suite provider, today launched two new features, Social Login and Explore, to its set of already popular technology tools that help users manage, monitor, analyze, publish, and engage across multiple social media platforms. The new Social Login feature reinforces Viralheat's reputation as an industry-wide leader as the only provider to date to support Social Sign On (SSO) across platforms including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+.
Viralheat's new Social Login feature allows existing users to sign directly into their Viralheat account using their email address or Social Login, which connects via Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Google+ accounts. The feature helps to reduce the number of passwords users have to remember each time they access their accounts. For new Viralheat customers, users can choose to sign in with a social network or email address. Viralheat will then automatically connect the user's preferred social network if they choose to sign in that way.
"Viralheat's new Social Login feature is surprisingly unique in the social media space today, allowing for a quicker, less hassle option for users to be able to sign into their accounts," said Vishal Sankhla, Co-founder, Viralheat. "In fact, we are the first social media marketing suite to offer Social Sign On as a way to sign up, or sign in, to this type of technology product … it's truly a sign of social evolution across the industry."
The new Explore feature allows users to search an unlimited number of keywords on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ in real-time. The keyword searches can be saved for viewing and analyzing later and can help users discover what is being said in the social media space about their particular company, product, and/or competitor. Explore allows users to search @mentions and hashtags via Twitter and keywords and phrases on Facebook and Google+.
Explore is free on both Twitter and Facebook for an unlimited number of keywords to all Viralheat users; Google+ keyword searches are unlimited for users with Pro, Premier, and Enterprise accounts. Explore complements Viralheat's social monitoring capabilities that allow users to monitor keywords and phrases across Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Youtube, blogs, and websites over time.
"With our new Explore feature, users now have the ability to search in real-time various social media platforms for any keywords, helping them to understand what is being said on these social networks about their company, products, or even competitors," Sankhla said. "Companies can definitely use this valuable data to their advantage."
Viralheat's all-in-one social media marketing suite makes it easy for social media marketers to manage, monitor, analyze, and engage across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ accounts. Marketers can connect all of their social accounts for individual or cross-channel publishing in addition to easy access to mentions about their company, brand, or keyword searches. Viralheat also provides detailed reporting and analytics across Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, blogs, and websites.
