Virginia Family Law Attorney Molly Garrett Appointed to Judicial Chair Position in Local Women Attorneys Association

FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Family law firm Shoun, Bach, Walinsky and Curran is proud to announce that one of it associate attorneys, Molly Garrett, has been appointed to the position of Judicial Chair for the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association. President and board members of the local chapter appointed Ms. Garrett based on her participation and interest in judicial screening panels over the past three years.

Members of the Northern Virginia Chapter celebrated her achievement at their annual potluck dinner on June 9, 2010, which was hosted by Judge Lisa Kemler.

As Judicial Chair, Garrett will aid in organizing judicial screening panels when there are vacancies for judicial seats in the General District Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts, and Circuit Courts in the area. Ms. Garrett will meet potential candidates for judgeships along with other members of the panels and submit recommendations to the General Assembly.
