
Virginia Hepner Named to State Bank Financial Corporation and State Bank & Trust Boards
ATLANTA, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- State Bank Financial Corporation announced today that Virginia A. Hepner has been selected to the board of directors of State Bank Financial Corporation and State Bank & Trust Company. Hepner is an Atlanta investor, civic leader and consultant with an extensive career in corporate banking.

Hepner was a corporate banking executive with Wachovia Bank for 25 years, serving in North Carolina, Chicago and Atlanta. She is a principal investor in GHL, LLC, a private real estate investment partnership; a business development consultant serving Fortune 500 companies at Venadar, LLC; and a former director at Chexar Corporation, a private technology company. She is active in many Atlanta non-profit and civic organizations, including Emory University Board of Visitors, Children's Healthcare Community Board, Theater of the Stars and Georgia Communities for Growth. She received the Phoenix Award in 2008 from Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin for outstanding community service.
