Visteon Presents Latest Innovations to Enhance Driving Experience at Auto Shanghai 2013

Visteon is highlighting its extensive innovations in climate, electronics and interiors through the latest vehicle concept, e-Bee. Making its Asia debut, the e-Bee is designed to explore new and alternative ways of using a vehicle in the year 2020. The concept incorporates the latest innovative technology - including display-based controls and Cloud-centered profile storage - and has drawn very positive reviews from automakers and media at recent shows in North America and Europe.

Fully compatible with electric vehicle and hybrid platforms, the e-Bee demonstrates intelligent mobility, where the vehicle gathers and disseminates useful driving-related data, acts as part of a wider mobility-enabling network, and integrates technology and design that is connected, simple and flexible.

In addition to the e-Bee vehicle, visitors also will be able to experience technologies from Visteon's family of businesses:

Halla Visteon Climate Control, the world's second largest global climate supplier, will showcase its eco-friendly technologies for both conventional and new energy vehicles. All of the latest climate technologies on display - including electric compressor, rotary suction compressor, air conditioning lines, metal seal fittings and water-cooled charge air cooler - are ready for commercialization.

Visteon Electronics will demonstrate products and innovations that integrate findings from its recent consumer research clinics, which focused on in-vehicle experiences and validating acceptance of next-generation technologies. Visteon's array of vehicle cockpit electronics will be on display, including audio and infotainment, information and controls, connectivity, and human-machine interaction (HMI) solutions.

Yanfeng Visteon Automotive Trim Systems Co., Ltd., (YFV) a joint venture between Visteon and Huayu Automotive Systems (HASCO), will present at HASCO's booth (D059, Hall N5) the Chinese variant of the e-Bee interiors. Demonstrating personalization, one of e-Bee's key themes, this concept showcases an interior tailored to the growing market of young, professional Chinese women.

Also on display is YFV's latest premium sports car concept, the Glide. Inspired by Chinese traditional elegance, Glide represents the unique driving experience designed for fashionable individuals living in densely populated cities in China.
