Vitamin Angels Celebrates Super Moms with Tristan Prettyman

#MySuperMom campaign invites supporters to share their stories using social media

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., April 18, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Vitamin Angels is honoring the global impact and importance of "Super Moms" all over the world with the My Super Mom social media campaign that kicked off Sunday, April 14.  Singer-songwriter Tristan Prettyman is lending her help with a video talking about how her own "super mom" influenced her career.  The campaign culminates on Friday, May 10 with a video compilation of the most inspiring, funny, and touching user-generated content in celebration of the importance of mothers.

Participants are encouraged to share stories about their moms on Twitter, Instagram and Vitamin Angels' Facebook page using the hashtag #MySuperMom.

The campaign is a Mother's Day celebration meant to raise awareness for the organization, which reaches at-risk pregnant women and new mothers with life changing multivitamins. Throughout the My Super Mom campaign, Vitamin Angels will share inspiring stories of "super moms" who are receiving vitamins through their programs. Supporters can use banners and other shareables to spread the word with their friends and family and encourage them to participate. There is no cost to participate, however those interested in donating may do so through the Vitamin Angels website.
