VoltDB to Showcase In-Memory Database Capabilities at In-Memory Computing Summit

BEDFORD, Mass., May 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- VoltDB will be exhibiting at the In-Memory Computing Summit, taking place May 23-24, 2016 at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco. Located in Booth #B3, the company will demonstrate an Industrial IoT sensor application. At the summit, VoltDB Director of Product Marketing Dennis Duckworth will present an in-memory case study that examines how VoltDB helped a content delivery network achieve simplicity, accuracy and speed from its data architecture while managing the real-time aggregation of more than 32 TB of daily web server log data. Dennis will discuss how VoltDB reduced the number of environments, used 1/10th the CPU cycles and achieved 100 percent billing accuracy on 32 TB of daily web server data. He will also do a comparison to a more complicated Amazon/AWS stack that attempts to provide similar functionality.
