VOXX Electronics Introduces An Enterprise Solution For myris®, An Iris Identity Authenticator

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Sept. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- VOXX Electronics Corporation (VEC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX), and EyeLock LLC., a market leader of iris-based identity authentication solutions, today announced the introduction of Enterprise myris^®, a USB-enabled iris identity authenticator providing the most convenient and secure way for companies to authenticate and manage employees' digital identities. 

Enterprise myris is the first USB-powered iris authentication product specifically engineered for the enterprise market that enables the use of best practices for password protocols while mitigating vulnerabilities associated with password breaches and security issues facing companies today.  Enterprise myris uses EyeLock's patented video-based iris authentication technology, which looks at more than 240 unique characteristics in each iris to generate an encrypted code unique to each individual.  Enterprise myris then matches the encrypted code to the individuals' eyes, granting access and providing an unprecedented level of security.
