Vroom Delivery and Burnham Liquors Now Delivering in Chicago

CHICAGO, July 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- VroomDelivery.com launched its first store in the Chicago area this week with Burnham Liquors, bringing on-demand delivery of alcohol and other products to the Loop and proximity. While the store is Vroom Delivery's first in this market, it's a homecoming of sorts for president—and Chicago resident—John Nelson.

Expanding local stores' footprint
Vroom Delivery partners with Burnham Liquors to deliver alcohol and other products to homes downtown and in River North, West Loop, Gold Coast and Old Town. Unlike other home delivery services, Vroom Delivery is the only platform on the market focused on smaller, locally owned convenience stores and retailers. "We give them a way to compete with larger chains," Mr. Nelson says, "with a web presence, tools to understand and capture customer demand, and marketing support."

Vroom Delivery got its start in Cincinnati also partnering with convenience stores and small retailers. "Our platform helps local businesses largely limited, up until this point, to foot traffic. Hundreds of choices, quick delivery
Through VroomDelivery.com's website and iOS app, customers can choose from hundreds of products—with delivery in under an hour. Located in Chicago's South Loop, the store has primarily served the neighborhood and passersby.

Delivery is available in under an hour or can be scheduled up to 10 days in advance. Store employees make all deliveries. All payment is via credit card.
