VTech is No.1 Global Manufacturer of Cordless Telephones

HONG KONG, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- VTech Holdings Ltd (HKEx: 303; ADR: VTKHY) today announced that independent research had confirmed its position as the number one global manufacturer of cordless telephones.

The study was carried out by MZA Ltd, a UK based telecommunications and IT analyst firm. Its Global Telecommunications Market Report (2010 Edition) confirmed that VTech produced more cordless phone base stations than any of its rivals in 2009, accounting for 27% of the global consumer cordless telephony market.
